Dr. Mowamba is back after a lengthy absence. This time he caught up with the lovely Lorielle New...a face you may remember from Rolfe Kanefsky's 'Corpses'. Also recently featured in the trailer 'Werewolf Women of the SS' from Grindhouse. Now, the man with the PHD on Scream Queens chats with the Ms. New in the flesh baybay!

(Q): How did you get started in acting and what made you want to?

(A): I was just born that way I couldn’t fight it! So finally I just moved to LA and embraced it.

(Q): You have been in a lot of horror movies now. Are you a fan of horror movies and what are some of your favorites?

(A): I love all movies even bad ones! I just love everything about them- I don’t think I can narrow it down too much cause I’m just such a cheerleader for film!

(Q): Now you were in Corpses with Tiffany Shepis. Can you tell us a little about the filming and your role?

(A): Rolfe Kanefsky was great! There was an incident between him and the producer ( that you can read about on another site) and which resulted in him having to shoot a scene with me, after shooting all night. He was exhausted!! but insisted on being there for me even though he was so tired, he had to direct while lying on the floor! He also has the BIGGEST video collection I’ve ever seen ! He had the cast over to show a bunch of zombie scenes from various films ( he's an expert on all things zombie) and his house was like a giant video store! Every where was all shelves of videos!

(Q): You were also in Frankenstein Reborn. Can you tell us a little about this too?

(A): I was very surprised that the guys from asylum shoot on film! They are very industrious!

(Q): You were also in Rob Zombie's Werewolf Women of the SS trailer in Grindhouse. Can you tell us a little about it?

(A): Rob Zombie was super cool. He shot 36 hours of footage for his 3 min trailer and there were so many name actors that did great, crazy scenes, that did not make the final edit! I hope they make the full feature someday it would be lots of fun!

(Q): Can you tell us a little about the filming and was there an extensive make-up process?

(A): The special effects team was great! Myself and the other werewolf woman (Olja Hrustic) basically had the stand in their trailer for 5 hours, while the 5 man team applied glue and 6 inch long individual strands of real hair all over us, and long black nails, and molded fangs! Then we basically tried not to move around all day or put clothes on between scenes cause it would matt down the hair and melt the glue! and then it took about 2 hours to get all the hair and glue off!! It didn’t just wash off! So that was a long process but the results were really cool, and Olja and I ended up becoming great friends as a result!

(Q): You will also be in Uwe Boll's upcoming film Postal. Can you tell us about your role and the film?

(A): I'm really excited about this film! i had a great time on it and the dailies were sooo good! its very dark, twisted, sardonic, and offensively funny! and I think its a smart social commentary underneath its crass surface! i thin a lot of people- even critic's of Uwe, are going to really like this film!

(Q): How was it working with Uwe Boll?

(A): Uwe was great to work with, thats why he gets soo many name actors in his films, over and over again! he's very easy going and open to any ideas that you might have. and he knows what he wants, he shoots quickly and doesnt waste a lot of time.

Thank you so much for doing this interview with me! -- Thanks for asking me! i hope your readers enjoy POSTAL!!!!!! xo Lorielle
