This sexy chinese/russian mix is taking the independent horror scene by storm! Not only is she one of DEADPIT's favorite up and coming females but she's now featured in this exclusive interview with our very own Dr. Mowamba.

(Q): How did you get started in the entertainment industry?

(A): I started out doing promotions and spokesmodeling representing liquor and cigarette brands while in college, working part-time. I enjoyed it. The hours were flexible and it allowed me to do other free lance work.

(Q): Did you choose getting in to the horror genre or did it just kinda happen that way?

(A):It just kinda happened that way. I attended Fangoria upon request from my fans since they know I am into horror movies and I thought it would be fun. Appearing at the event was an another avenue for my fans to meet and greet me besides the typical model conventions.

(Q): What are some of your favorite horror movies?

(A): Lots!!! Hellraiser, Tales From The Crypt, She-Creature, Halloween, golly, way too many!!

(Q): Your first film is Abattoir with Mike Watt and Amy Lynn Best. Can you tell us a little about your role and the movie?

(A): I play Zhora, Elizabet's lieutenant and I am a cold-blooded predator with no emotions. I kill anyone who tries to challenge the Bathory House. Abattoir tells a story of young woman who accidentally upsets the delicate truce between a group of vampires and a team of Irish mercenaries.

(Q): How was it for you seeing yourself in a movie for the first time?

(A): It took me awhile to get use to it. The very first time I saw it myself, I couldn't watch it. I was too shy. Then I saw it with my friend. Every time my role appeared, she'd "buggy" punched me. I told her we are not driving on the highway and I'm not one of those buggy cars. Least to say, I was teased. What are friends for right? When I saw it the third time, I was more relaxed and started to critique myself and thinking, "I could have done this better." When I saw the final cut, I still felt I could have done better. I am my worst critic.

(Q): Now you are also doing something else with Mike Watt and Amy Lynn Best called Blood Bath Blood Wrestling. Can you tell us a little about it?

(A): Blood Bath Blood Wrestling DVD Vol. 1 is unscripted and unrehearsed featuring a no-hold barred event stars the indie actresses in horror. It features Amy Lynn Best, April Monique Burril, Melantha Blackthorne as the Ref and I am the Ring Girl. I got to meet Ari Lehman who performed live music. He makes me smile too much.

(Q): Are there any directors or actors you would really want to work with?

(A): Yes, definitely. Charles Band from Full Moon Pictures. I'm a fan of Full Moon Movies especially the Puppet Master series. As for actors, I love to work Brinke Stevens. I first met her at It Came from Lake Michigan Film Festival last year. Although we spoke briefly, she was so positive and gave me a lot of advice about the film industry. She motivated me to excel and was such an influence. The other actor would be Tina Krause. We spent over two hours having personal time talk when I was in Pittsburgh for Genghis Con. She's amazing and a strong actress. I walked away with a lot of their wisdom and charm. They helped me to be who I am and how I want to be portrayed in the independent horror genre.

(Q): You are also no stranger to the convention scene. What do you think of them?

(A): I love them! I started to attend conventions as a way for my fans to meet and greet me. It was also great exposure to expand my career. The best part is making new friends who have the same goals and interests. The support is definitely there in the independent horror film industry.

(Q): Have you ever had any strange requests or experiences with fans at a convention?

(A): No, not really. I get a lot of shy ones.

(Q): You also do some poetry and art. Can you tell us a little about it?

(A): Yes, definitely. The arts in general are very important to me. I'm no connoisseur in writing. I love to write poetry because that's how I express myself. I'm a romantic and day dreamer too much I'm afraid; makes me a little cheesy but I'm a girl so I can get away with it right? As for painting, my art hides memories of my past, what I've done, who I met and who I'm thinking of.
When someone asks me about what one particular piece means, I can recall it like it was yesterday. That is what art truly means for me.

(Q):Do you have any other upcoming movies or projects you would like to tell us about?

(A): Yes, but since they're not confirmed, I prefer to wait before I "officially" announce it.

(Q):Thanks so much for doing this interview with me. Is there anything else you would like to say?

(A): Much thanks to my supporting friends and fans. I wouldn't be where I am today.
