Blairwitch63 was born and raised in Owensboro Ky., and except for a few years spent traveling here and there, haunting different forests, she always came back home. She'd always been a fan of horror movies and loved the one about what she did to those three whiny bitches who dared trespass in her woods in Maryland (despite being a bit miffed about getting no screen time or even a cut of the profit). Alas, the state of horror during that time was bleak and she despaired at ever finding anything as original and creepy again.

A few years later on a dark November night she wandered mournfully into a theater to see something called "The Ring" and with the first scene felt a rush of fun and happy fear for the first time in years. Not long after, she learned that "The Ring" was a remake of a Japanese film called "Ringu". Intrigued, Blairwitch sought out not only this original but watched every Asian horror film she could get her claws on--Japanese, Chinese, Korean--it didn't matter, she was hooked! Here was some horror she'd never experienced. Such movies! Such stories! It's hard to scare an old witch like Auntie Blairsy, so not all of them did, but these were stories that went for the bones, the guts and the brain rather than cheap boo scares, lame stories and bad CGI. These were stories that stayed with her.

The Blairwitch began haunting the internet in her search for more Asian movies; always searching for sites where she could purchase, rent or read about them. It wasn't long before she fell into the Deadpit! Charmed by the shows she downloaded, and even more so by the two hosts of the show from her native Kentucky known as The Creepy Kentuckian and Uncle Bill, the Blairwitch began haunting THEM! To appease her, the guys let her begin writing reviews of her beloved Asian films for their site and all is well in the land since Blairwitch63 is now a proud Creep of Deadpit.com!

Some favorite non-Asian horror movies she enjoys are: The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, All the Romero "Dead" films except "Land", Evil Dead, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street (parts 3, 4 & 5 too), Friday the 13th, The Exorcist (parts 1 & 3), The Gates of Hell, Carrie, Candyman, all the Final Destination movies, High Tension, American Psycho, American Nightmare, House of 1000 Corpses, Devil's Rejects, Black Christmas, Natural Born Killers (though not really horror so much as a black romantic comedy), Mothman Prophecies, In The Mouth of Madness, and many many more….
